Centerfield® 2

The Centerfield® 2 is a state-of-the-art portable perimeter specifically designed for precise examinations. Its enclosed design and light-protected view enable accurate examination regardless of room brightness, ensuring reliable results. At the heart of the Centerfield® 2 is its patented rear projection principle. This innovative technology enables flexible programming of the test point grid so that it can be adapted to changes in legislation or specific requirements. This means that the device is always up to date and offers maximum flexibility for various applications. Correction measuring lenses (+/- 1.0 sph. and 3.0 sph.) are included with the Centerfield® 2, enabling precise adjustment to the patient's individual needs. In addition, the device has a special test point grid for examinations in accordance with the German Driver's License Ordinance (FeV), which meets the requirements of the Traffic Commission of the German Ophthalmological Society (DOG). Despite its advanced technology, the Centerfield® 2 is compact and portable, making it the smallest portable perimeter capable of testing up to 70°. This mobility makes it possible to carry out tests at different locations without compromising on accuracy. The Centerfield® 2 is operated via the USB interface of a PC or notebook, which enables simple and intuitive control. The ergonomic design of the device ensures optimal comfort for the subject during the examination. The new user-friendly screen interface concentrates on the essentials and thus considerably simplifies device operation. With just one click of the mouse, the examiner can access the printout of the findings, which clearly displays all relevant examination parameters. The Centerfield® 2 also comes with a cover, a patient response button, a lens holder for narrow rim lenses, an opaque eye patch, four narrow rim lenses (+/- 1.0 sph. and +/- 3.0 sph.) and an integrated chin rest. The device is therefore immediately ready for use and offers everything needed for precise and comfortable visual field examinations. The Centerfield® 2 sets a new standard in visual field diagnostics and has been recognized by experts as suitable for examinations in accordance with the German Driver's License Ordinance and the German Employer's Liability Insurance Association principles G 25 and G 41.
