For testing twilight vision and glare sensitivity in accordance with DIN 58 220, Part 7, the new equipment 6 to the FeV, G25-examination and DOG Directive.
The vision in darkness and twilight is quite different from seeing during the day. To test the visual function at twilight, a Landolt ring is offered in a field with low luminance (0.032 cd / m²) according to the situation of driving at night. The Landolt ring (visual acuity 0.1) is available in four different contrast levels (1:23 / 1:5 / 1:2.7 / 1:2). The glare sensitivity is tested by simulating the headlights of an oncoming vehicle. With this beam, the test is also performed in the four contrast levels.
