Polystyrene filter units with cellulose acetate membrane, 50, 75 and 90 mm diameter and yellow color coding. Low protein binfing and fast flow rates with minimal risk of blockage, no selective protein loss. Membrane holder without insert, which to a large extent prevents foaming in proteinaceous solutions. Radiation-sterilized to eliminate any ethylene oxide toicity risk to sensitive cell cultures. As with all material used for the membranes, cellulose acetate is triton-free and has extremely low extractable levels. Filter bottle, filter bowl and cover are made of transparent polystyrene. All filtration units have a side arm with cotton wadding and a quick-disconnected tubing adapter. Separate filter bottles are available. Membrane holders and cases are yellow.
