The Servocult urine culture media 2-fold are high-quality ready-to-use culture media that have been specially developed to determine the bacterial count in urine. These ready-to-use culture media enable fast and efficient diagnosis of urinary tract infections both in the office and in clinical settings. Each Servocult urine culture medium 2-fold is supplied in a tightly sealed sample container containing the culture medium for inoculation. The use of different culture media on the front and back of the culture medium ensures precise pre-selection of the pathogens. After an appropriate incubation period in the incubator, bacteria can be reliably detected in the urine. The ready-to-use culture media are provided with various agar coatings that enable qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of bacteria in urine. They are used both to diagnose urinary tract infections and to monitor the success of treatment. The sample container is equipped with an immersion culture medium in a screw cap and contains two different culture media: CLED agar (Cystine Lactose Electrolyte Deficient) for determining the total bacterial count and MacConkey agar for the selective growth of gram-negative bacteria. The Servocult urine culture media 2-fold are supplied with patient labels and should be stored at a temperature between 15 and 25 °C. They can be used at temperatures between 4 and 4 °C. They can be used at temperatures between 4 and 35 °C. The scope of delivery includes 10 Servocult immersion culture media in the selected variant as well as 10 patient labels for precise sample identification.
