SAM-IO®, training set, with Proximal Tibia Sawbone

The SAM-IO® Training Set is a comprehensive training system specially developed for practical training in the use of the SAM IO intraosseous access system. It enables medical professionals to train the placement of an intraosseous access under realistic and almost real conditions - without using sterile materials or clinical disposables.

At the heart of the set is the manually operated SAM IO Driver, which generates a controlled rotation of the needle by repeatedly pressing the trigger. In combination with slight downward pressure, precise, controlled placement of the training needle can be simulated. The training needles supplied in three different lengths (15 mm, 25 mm and 45 mm) correspond exactly to the clinical versions in terms of design and handling. 

The set is supplemented by a SAM IO stabilizer for realistic fixation of the needle, a needle adapter for using alternative training needles and an extension tube that can be used to demonstrate treatment after successful puncture. All components of the training set are stored safely and neatly in a robust case, which offers not only protection but also mobility.
