The ability to move freely during monitoring, even in the bath or shower, increases safety and comfort for the pregnant woman. The system includes a patient call function that allows medical staff to call patients from the fetal monitor with a sound signal. This contributes to efficient communication and care. In addition, the wireless monitoring of the Avalon CL enables the care of twins and triplets.
The automatic notification function alerts the patient if she leaves the signal reception area to ensure continuous monitoring. The user-friendly and intuitive controls on the screen of the connected fetal monitor facilitate both configuration and operation.
The use of high-capacity lithium-ion batteries ensures an operating time of over 8 hours, while the short charging time of less than 3 hours ensures that the system is quickly ready for use again. The Avalon CL base station can be seamlessly connected to the fetal transducer ports of the Avalon FM20, FM30, FM40 and FM50 fetal monitors.
