The flow test tubes, also known as smoke tubes, are an indispensable tool for detecting air flows in ventilation and air conditioning systems and for checking weather flow movements. Their mode of operation is based on a filling layer impregnated with fuming sulphuric acid. When air is pumped through the tube, white smoke escapes, making the flows visible. These tubes are suitable for a temperature range of 0°C to 40°C and humidity values of 3 to 50 mg/L. To carry out the test, the tips of the tubes are removed, they are inserted into the blower ball and then the air is pumped through the tube. After use, the tubes can be sealed with rubber caps and reused. Each pack contains 10 flow test tubes in a practical plastic box.
