The Transferpette® -12 electronic piston pipette combines the world-wide features of BRAND mechanical pipettes with the advantages of electronic devices. The device was awarded the "Ergonomics Approved" certificate from TÜV Rheinland as the world's first microliter pipette. The hand-controlled design of the electronic, motorised piston-stroke pipette provides optimal weight distribution, while the infinitely adjustable finger rest allows the ergonomic natural positioning of the hand to the functional elements. Low sticking for insertion and ejection, and optimal fitting accuracy with most commercially available pipette tips are achieved by the universal design of the tip receptacle cone.
