Polycarbonate filtration units for clear or sterile filtration of aqueous solutions with a volume of up to 200 ml. Type 16510 is supplied complete with receiver and can be operated with both negative pressure and slight overpressure (0.5 bar recommended for long service life) , In combination with a hand pump, this filtration unit provides a convenient, cost-effective system for filtration in and out of the laboratory. For sterile filtration, the filtration unit is equipped with a 13400-0013 glass fiber filter (included), sterile equalization is possible to equalize the pressure avoid contamination of the sterile concentrate. The funnel fits snugly into the central opening of the lid, making it easier to fill the bowl with liquid. Filtration area 12.5 cm², top and collecting vessel 250 ml, for membrane filter 47 mm (prefilter 37 mm), negative pressure or max. 2 bar (200 kPa) overpressure. Scope of delivery: Attachment complete with cover, screw plug for the lid, plug and funnel, lower part with hose connection and filter attachment, all made of polycarbonate.
