This sterile disposable polystyrene filter unit is certified for water quality assurance and contains a 47 mm, 0.45 µm cellulose nitrate membrane for excellent recovery and growth of microorganisms. This unit has good chemical resistance to dilute acids and aromatic and aliphatic hydrocarbons and complies with American Public Health Association (APHA) guidelines, standard methods and U.S. EPA water quality analysis requirements.
The upper receptacles have a scale from 20 to 115 mL. After filtration, the upper chamber can be easily removed from the receptacle.
