Glass vacuum filter for 50/47 mm membrane filter, with glass frit. The glass frit filtration unit ensures a uniform distribution of the retained particles and is therefore recommended when dealing with the residues on the filter surface. The PTFE ring surrounding the glass frit not only enables autoclaving with the filter inserted, but also protects the edge of the glass frit from breakage and possible leakage. The centering edge on the top of the filter support helps in positioning the membrane filter, a silicone ring on the bottom ensures a reliable seal on the filtrate side.
