Standard rotor with V-cutting edges and counter blades made of tool steel. Crushes the sample gently by a pure cutting stress. Alternatively, a rotor with V-cutters and counter-blades made of carbide tungsten carbide is offered, which additionally comminutes the material to be ground by impact / shearing action. As an extension to this, the side-milling rotor with indexable inserts and counter-blades made of tungsten carbide withstands the highest stresses and offers the greatest stability of the blades. This rotor is even suitable for crushing board scrap with glass fiber residues. For sample preparation according to RoHS and WEEE (eg for the detection of hexavalent chromium) and for XRF analysis, we recommend our cutting tool sets made of chrome-free tool steel.
