DURAN® Protect laboratory bottle, wide neck, brown

The DURAN Protect laboratory bottle is plastic coated, GLS 80® threaded and graduated.

Made of amber DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3. DURAN® is a neutral glass, classified as glass type I according to USP <660>, EP (3.2.1) and JP <7.01>, and meets the requirements of ASTM E438, type I, class A. The outer polymer coating provides protection against scratching, leaking* and splintering* (*applies to bottles up to 5000 ml only). The bottle provides UV protection up to approximately 500 nm through external coloring. The color applied only from the outside ensures that the inner surfaces have the usual DURAN® glass properties. Easy access to the bottle contents due to the large diameter of the bottleneck.

The bottle is particularly suitable for the safe storage and shipping of powdered, highly potent active pharmaceutical ingredients (HPAPIs): optimal filling and pouring and effortless cleaning. Even large-volume funnels can be easily inserted into the bottles. The easy-to-read scale with graduations for estimating the contents makes work easier.
