The GoldTrace™ scalp electrode is the first and only scalp electrode designed specifically for ST analysis (STAN) and is compatible with the STAN™ CTG monitoring system. Unlike conventional scalp electrodes, which only measure the fetal heart rate, GoldTrace™ records the entire fetal ECG, enabling more comprehensive monitoring. The gold-plated electrode spiral and connectors ensure exceptionally high signal quality, resulting in significantly better and more continuous recordings. The electrode is also compatible with other CTG systems and offers a high degree of precision and durability.
Thanks to its gold coating, the GoldTrace™ electrode delivers reliable and distinct signals, which have been evaluated in numerous tests and studies as more continuous and precise. For ease of use, the electrode is equipped with a flexible application guide that allows for quick and safe placement at the ideal anatomical position. The application technique is intuitive and requires little training. The single connector on the electrode makes attachment uncomplicated and prevents mix-ups. With a suitable adapter cable, GoldTrace™ can be used with all common CTG systems.
GoldTrace™ offers proven safety, which is ensured by fully insulated and shielded lead wires, a protective spiral tip cap and a patented connector. The cap protects both the electrode from damage and the user when removing it. The electrode complies with European safety directives and FDA requirements. Thanks to the double-ground spiral tip, GoldTrace™ can be applied with minimal trauma and is compatible with STAN, EDAN, PHILIPS and GE devices.
