The Crico Chris - Coniotomy Task Trainer is designed to train healthcare professionals to perform coniotomies and improve their skills. Coniotomy is an emergency medical procedure used for acute airway obstruction when other airway measures are unsuccessful. The Crico Chris Task Trainer has been specially designed to provide a realistic training experience. It features a larynx with a replaceable Llg. Conicum and a skin layer that comes as close as possible to natural conditions. Both the skin and the Llg. Conicum are designed so that they can be gradually rotated 360 degrees to allow a variety of exercises before replacement is required. A unique feature of the Crico Chris Task Trainer is the blood-engraved hole placed between the skin and the Llg. Conicum is the blood-filled bag. This realistically simulates the appearance of blood during the incision and makes further work more difficult, as would be the case in a real emergency situation. This helps to ensure that the training is as realistic as possible and that users are prepared for the challenges of an actual coniotomy. The trainer comes with a comprehensive kit that includes all the necessary components for training, including the base body, the laryngeal cartilage, the laryngeal ligament layer, the neck skin, the airway and three artificial blood bags.
