pH indicator strips

The pH-Fix 3.6-6.1 indicator sticks offer a precise and simple way of determining the pH value in a specific measuring range from 3.6 to 6.1. With eight graduated values (3.6-4.1-4.4-4.7-5.0-5.3-5.6-6.1), they enable detailed analysis of slightly acidic to neutral samples. These indicator sticks are available in packs of 100 and measure 5.5 x 85 mm. The pH-Fix indicator sticks are ready to use and require no calibration or maintenance. This makes on-site pH determination very easy, regardless of the user's experience or chemical background. The long plastic handle of the sticks protects the user from direct contact with the sample and thus enables safe testing. Thanks to the patented technology in which the indicator dyes are chemically bound to the cellulose fiber, bleeding of the dyes is reliably prevented even in strongly alkaline solutions. This makes it possible to use the sample for further tests without hesitation after the pH determination. Measurements can also be carried out in weakly buffered solutions by immersing the indicator sticks in the sample until the color is constant. The color fields do not run into each other and the indicator dyes do not contaminate the sample, which is particularly important for subsequent analyses.
