The S-Monovette® Potassium EDTA is a high-quality blood collection system that has been specially developed for venous collection. With a nominal volume of 4 ml and dimensions of 75 x 15 mm, it offers sufficient space for sample collection. The tube is made of transparent polypropylene (PP), while the cap is made of high-density polyethylene (HD-PE) and has a membrane screw cap for easy and safe handling. The S-Monovette® is prepared with K3 EDTA, which corresponds to a concentration of 1.6 mg/ml blood. The color code according to EU standards facilitates the identification of the preparation. Each monovette is provided with a plastic label containing important information such as the nominal volume and the preparation. The S-Monovette® allows a free choice of collection technique, whether aspiration or vacuum principle. If required, it can be combined with a multi-adapter for use with Luer connections or with a Multifly® cannula for blood collection with winged cannulas. The liquid EDTA solution retains its anticoagulant effect even after prolonged storage. Each S-Monovette® is individually sterile packed to ensure maximum safety.
