Stellisept® med

Stellisept® med is a mild antimicrobial cleansing lotion for hands, body, and hair with a moisturizing 3-in-1 care complex. The formula, which contains glycerin, panthenol, and allantoin, nourishes the skin, increases skin moisture, and supports the skin’s natural protective barrier. Stellisept® med is suitable for hygienic body washing of patients prior to a hospital stay or surgical procedures, as well as for gentle antiseptic full-body washing—including the hair—in cases of MRSA and VRE colonization. The wash lotion helps reduce bacteria, including MRSA and VRE, within 30 seconds and has a bactericidal effect. In addition, it can be used for hygienic hand washing as well as for cleansing and caring for irritated skin, for example in home care for incontinence. Stellisept® med is free of alcohol and dyes and combines antimicrobial cleansing with skin-nourishing care. For full-body washing, apply the solution to damp skin or a damp washcloth and rub it in thoroughly. After allowing it to act for at least 30 seconds, the treated areas of the body are thoroughly rinsed with clean water. For hygienic hand washing, Stellisept® med is also massaged into damp hands for at least 30 seconds, then rinsed with water and dried with a disposable towel. The package contains 500 ml.
