Presence/Absence Bouillon with MUG ampoules provides an easy to use test, ideal for screening drinking water samples for the presence of total coliforms and E. coli bacteria. Simply add your 100 mL sample to the P/A broth and incubate at 35 °C for 24 to 48 hours. A change in color to yellow or yellow-brown indicates the presence of coliform bacteria.
