Vacuum valve VS 16
- Valves of the series VS, VS C and VS B are butterfly-type butterfly valves.
- A round valve plate with an outer sealing ring rotates about an axis running transversely to the valve housing.
- As a result, the valves release virtually the entire cross-section and have very good conductances.
- The valve housings are machined in one piece from solid material and require only a single elastic shaft seal which is only subjected to rotation, in addition to the valve disc seal.
- These valves have very low leak rates and low gas emissions.
- In the C version, the valve stem seal is made of chemically resistant perfluoroelastomer.
