Acidity is usually caused by the presence of mineral acids, salts of strong acids, or free carbon dioxide. In surface or ground waters, acidity may form natural substances or industrial pollution. Excessive levels cause corrosion and can be detrimental to fish. Utilizing the Hach Digital Titrator, the Model AC-DT kit is used to determine acidity concentrations. Kit includes Digital Titrator, reagents and labware, manual and carrying case. Range: 10-4,000 mg/L. Contains approximately 100 tests.
Hach Digital Titrator offers higher levels of precision and accuracy than drop count procedures, with reproducibility comparable to a buret titration
Rugged titration device is ideal for field use, with no glass burets required
