Don’t forget about separating funnels for your laboratory glassware

Separatory funnels are used to separate immiscible liquids, which are liquids which won’t mix to give a single phase. For example, oil and water. For your liquid-liquid extractions, these chemically inert, translucent and autoclavable Nalgene™ separatory funnels from Thermo Fischer will do the job. TFE stopcock assembly has excellent chemical resistance and is leakproof when used with provided Nalgene™ closure, and does not require lubrication — can be chemically disinfected. 

HDPE IP2 or Nalgene™ is a thermoplastic polymer, made of high-density polyethylene and so can resist external influences, such as splitting. Nalgene™ separatory funnels are more transparent than our polypropylene separatory funnels and are compatible with all common lab reagents and solvents. Furthermore, separatory funnels are available in various shapes, like conical, spherical and in a Squibb type, and with or without graduation.
