Laboratory container in the Fleischhacker Online Shop

At Fleischhacker, we provide access to a wide range of containers to suit any need in the laboratory. We know how crucial the most suitable container for each experiment is so we offer a selection of bottles, transport and safety containers, test tubes, beakers, flasks, dishes and crucibles, sample vials and specimen jars. These containers are made out of a range of materials. For example, some reagent bottles we offer at Fleischhacker are made of LDPE, Nalgene™ HDPE IP2 and PPCO. LDPE is a low-density polyethylene which is a thermoplastic made of monomer ethylene and therefore, has been chiefly used in packaging. Whereas HDPE IP2 or Nalgene™ is a thermoplastic polymer, made of high-density polyethylene and so can resist external influences, such as splitting. On the other hand, PPCO can provide a combination of benefits of the polymers ethylene and propylene, such as its autoclavability.

In addition to the flasks, test tubes, dishes and crucibles, and safety containers, we also offer various closures, plugs and pouring rings to aid in your experiments. Closures can be purchased with a variety of thread sizes and with a large range of materials to choose from. For example, screw caps are available in PP, LDPE and PTFE, and in a range of colours. Additional screw caps may be purchased to permit the opening and closing of the Duran® bottles, some with only a three-quarter turn for ease of use. Additionally, we provide pouring rings which can be used to colour-code your Duran® glass bottles and make identification easier and therefore, experiments easier to conduct.
