The KNAUER AS 6.1L autosampler can be loaded with up to 768 different samples when used with microtiter plates. The device can also be operated with up to 108 standard 1.5 ml sample vials.
An injection including washing the sample needle can be completed in less than a minute. Three different injection modes are supported: "Full Loop Injection" (with the highest injection accuracy and reproducibility), "Partial Loop Injection" (for injecting different sample volumes) and "Microliter Pickup" (for injecting very small sample volumes). without sample loss).
The autosampler 6.1L can apply overpressure to the headspace of the vial during sampling to prevent the sample from outgassing. Pre-column derivatizations are also supported. For injections in the high-pressure range, the autosampler has an ILD™ valve (Intermediate Loop Decompression). This valve consists of a rotor-stator combination and has a central port for pressure relief. For applications in the high-pressure range, the sample loop is depressurized before the sample is picked up, so that the sample is not diluted with eluent.
