Tubes and rack are made of PP and autoclavable at 121°C (2 bar), according to DIN EN 285. cover mats/strips (TPE) are not autoclavable. Tubes, racks and lids are temperature resistant down to -80°C. The tightness of the tubes is pressure tested. The stackable racks in ANSI/SLAS format are especially suitable for use with robots and other automated dosing systems due to the stable connection of carrier plate and rack. Coded tubes (A1 - H12) and the side surfaces of the racks suitable for barcode labels facilitate sample allocation.
